By submitting this application, I hereby agree as follows: I certify that I have read this application and that the information in the application is correct. I agree to comply with all federal and state laws, current code editions adopted and all ordinances of the City of Idaho Falls relating to building construction and/or other work described in this application. I further authorize representatives of the Community Development Services Department to enter upon the property for which I have applied for this permit for the purpose of making inspections.

This permit allows the permittee to perform only the work described in the application. If the permittee desires to perform additional or other work not described in this application, additional permits may be required. Before commencing any additional work, permittee is advised to consult with the Community Development Services Department to determine whether or what additional permits may be required. It shall be the duty of the permit applicant to cause the work to remain accessible and exposed for inspection purposes.

Note: Pursuant to current edition of the IRC, whenever a permit is issued for a dwelling that has an attached garage or a fuel-fired appliances, carbon monoxide alarms must be installed in the immediate vicinity of the bedrooms and sleeping areas. By obtaining this permit, the owner or the owner’s agent agrees to install such carbon monoxide alarms.
